Here comes the crazy...

The other night started the beginning of what i can see to be a couple of crazy weeks. For those who know me well, or my mother well, KNOWS that we have crazy dreams. I guess I'm getting payback from always laughing at my mom's dreams of chasing Krispy Kreme trucks and such. Last night i had a wedding day dream. I was getting ready for the wedding, and everything kept going wrong. Surprisingly enough, i was calm the whole time. In my head, (watching the dream) i feel frantic screaming " HURRY UP!", yet I'm walking around in my dream in this lackadaisical state. For example, we are in the old house (that i grew up in) and I'm in the extra bedroom by the bathroom downstairs. I had just gotten out of the shower, and i blow dry my hair. (of course, while this is going on, people are swarming around me and taking up my space and not letting me in the bathroom to get my makeup) Then i start to stress a little because i realize that Erica isn't coming to do my hair. I start to dry my hair and then am pulling out every curling iron, straightener, crimper, whatever i could get my hands on! So there i am, trying to do my hair. Then i get distracted (shocking, i know) and for some reason put my towel back on my head, therefore ruining any progress that i did make on the hairstyle. Sooo...back to square one. Then to confuse things even more, after i give up and just walk out to get ready to get married, my 'groom' walks by. What's weird is that i know that its the groom, but I'm angry b/c its not Stephen. Then i think i run to one of my sisters and was like, "what happened to Stephen? What happened?"
and then, of course, like during any other dream that confuses you, you wake up!

wow...i guess there's really no question that I'm adopted, after all! I am DEFINITELY my mother's daughter!

What makes it even funnier is that Stephen had a dream the other night along the same lines. (well, not the 'doing my hair' lines, but you get the picture)
He said that he woke up and realized that he was still engaged, but it was to a different person. He was really confused, asking everyone "how did this happen? How do i tell this new girl that this was an accident?" haha
We must really be a perfect match in all of our insanity.

I'm starting to feel the wedding crazy. Don't misunderstand and thing i have the 'cold feet' jitters...just the 'holy cow I'm getting married in 4 weeks and have so much to do' crazy!

Its been a busy week. I have to run here, do this, do that, go run there, go pick up that. It honestly wouldn't be that bad if i didn't work such a weird shift. By the time i get off work, all of the shops are closed. So its been a week of coming in late to work, not taking lunches (or dinners for that matter) and trying to fit every possible thing into my day as possible!

On the bright side, Stephen and i got our Marriage License yesterday, and went to SCE&G to get the electricity turned on in our new apartment the day before we move in. On the even BRIGHTER side, because of Stephen's awesome credit, we didn't have to put the $150 deposit down! Yay for saving money!

So, every things on go...so I'm waiting for the storm to come...

4 weeks and 1 day...(not that I'm counting)

Wow, you are a busy girl! Cade & I still have those weird dreams sometimes, where we're married, but to someone else?!? Only, I can never see the face, I just know it isn't him. Anyway, thank goodness we can wake up from them! I know the next four weeks will fly by, and you'll miraculously get everything done that needs to be done before the wedding. Just know that it will all pay off on that day, and will totally be worth every skipped meal, and frantic effort. I love you.
