We got to take a little trip to visit Gram last week. We haven't done that in a looooonngg time, so it was much needed. Two of my nieces were also there, so we had a blast all day! We went swimming, had a picnic beside the pool, and just played all day.
But, the part of the day I want to remember is actually when we were heading home. Gram walked us out, and as I buckled Grace into her seat, she pointed to the seat beside her and said, "Gram seat!" Gram and I continued talking and saying goodbyes and Grace kept getting louder and louder, saying, "Gram, SEAT!!"
She wanted so badly for Gram to sit down beside her and come back home with us.
Needless to say, Grace (and Gram) was not happy when I had to close the door and drive off.
I'm with ya, Grace...we just don't see Gram enough.

You know, you can't blame her for wanting to take Gram home with her--Gram's pretty awesome!
Thanks for posting that. I was writing my Grand kid isms and knew that I was missing one... there it is. Thanks. I love you too and there is never enough when it comes to spending time with my precious daughters and grands. And sons too.MOM
