We all know Grace loves music.
But lately, she has also started singing.
The other night, as we were doing our nightly routine of rocking before bed, I asked her what song she wanted to sing.
Expecting her to say "temple (I love to see the temple), or I am a Child of God, or even Popcorn Popping, imagine my confusion when she promptly says "Bird".
Having no idea what she means by that, I say, "Will you sing it to me?"
Grace lifts her head off my shoulder, looks me in the eye and sings, "Aaaahhh, ahh, ahh, BIRD!!!"
I'm sure that was just a first of many to come from my little singer/songwriter!
