The Carrolls came to visit!

We had a really great experience this last week. The Carrolls, a missionary couple from Stephen's mission, came to visit SC! They were on their way to vacation with family, but decided to take us out to dinner. I can definately tell why Stephen calls them his favorites from the mission.

I do have to admit that I was a little lost during some of the dinner conversation... (think recap of mission stories, crazy companions, etc) but it was fun to hear about his mission, and their take on the situations (the stories i hear are a little one sided...haha)

It was especially nice just so meet them and get to know them, because I know Stephen cares so much about them. And, Sis. Carroll even cross-stitched this gorgeous picture of the golden gate bridge! I cannot imagine the patience it took to make it! (but I can guarantee that it is more patience than I have!) We were so excited about it, that we hung it up in our bedroom as soon as we got home. We LOVE it!

It was a great time, and i'm so glad that we were able to have a visit with them!
