So I've found yet another way that my daughter is like her father: She can eat and eat and eat.
I have a feeling that I might need to start adding more starches in our diet to curb some of the cost of groceries.
Last night, Stephen and I went to the temple while Grace stayed with my sister, Cara. When I walked in the door to pick her up, Cara said, "Your daughter is a bottomless pit!". I had warned her.
While we were at the temple Grace ate:
Spaghetti
Cup of peaches
Green beans
2 Ritz Crackers
3+ biter biscuits
1 banana cookie
2 cups of juice
(and I think I'm forgetting something)
Yes, that is in less than 3 hours.
I tell Stephen all the time, that I feel like all I do all day is feed our daughter.
Well, today was no different.
Grace woke up from her nap at 11:40.
I changed her diaper and got her changed for the day.
I sat her down in her booster seat and proceeded to feed her lunch.
One hour later, I declared lunch over.
She ate:
4 Chicken Nuggets
Mandarin oranges
about 15 Cooked Carrots (slices)
Rice (maybe 1/4 cup)
cup of water
and an animal cracker
Don't believe me?
Look at her tray.
Oh, and to prove that it was not all over the floor...
Man, I hope she also inherited her daddy's metabolism.
