I've heard of a security blanket...but never a security syringe. But that is what Grace has decided to attach herself to. The squishy, removable top of her syringe. About a month ago, I handed it to her after giving her some meds (for an ear infection) and since then she LOVES it. On one particular night, I was rocking her to sleep, and she REFUSED to let it go. In fact, I tried to pry it from her fingers when I thought she was asleep, and elicited blood curdling screams. So, I handed her back her security syringe, and she laid her head back down on my shoulder and went to sleep. I had to go in her nursery a couple hours later after her iron clad grip had weakened to retrieve it.
Strange little girl...I sure love you.
