I have a confession to make. I'm ashamed to even say it.
Grace is almost a year old and has never been to the beach!
Shocking, I know!
For someone who used to be at the beach every other weekend of my summers and who is married to someone from the beach, you'd think that I'd have made time to introduce my love to my daughter.
Nope...it just didn't happen this summer.
So, last weekend, when we were visiting family, I insisted that we go to the actual BEACH to let Grace experience it.
Maybe not the best of times to experience it, but she was GOING TO EXPERIENCE IT!
We get there pretty much in-between downpours. The wind is CRAZY, and Grace is not really sure what to think of it.
She especially was confused by the sand.
So she did what any curious girl would do.

Then, Stephen obliged to take a few shots of me and my sweet girl.
I love her to pieces. Even more than the beach.
And I have a sneaking suspicion that someday, she might love the beach as much as I do.

I love the picture -the accidental one with the sandy hand. so cute. Seth ate tons of sand when he went to the beach for the first time (at her age)...then the next year he was afraid to get off the beach blanket to touch it...be ready for next year to see what she thinks of it.
Your beach pictures are as windy as ours from this year were.
Beebs! Amazing how good 5 minutes at the beach can look with two beautiful girls! I'm glad you stopped depriving your baby and took her :) Love the accidental phot as well! Too precious! xoxo
Love the Mommy/Daughter pictures. Those are few and far between in this household, too.
