Up early again....

For a GOOD reason!
My friend who lost her little girl to a car accident orchestrated a 5K in her daughter's memory.  I was lucky enough to go and support (And later walk) the worthy cause. All I'll say is that it was amazing. There was such joy in everyone's faces. We were all lucky enough to meet Ella during her time on Earth, and were happy to do something in her memory.  And we will continue to do so for years to come!

The START!

The sweet little girl smiling down on us from heaven...and her brother's sweet service for all the runners.

Some of the 'stay-behind' crew, or as we like to call ourselves, the "cheerleaders". We manned the water station while the runners ran.

Pretty much sums up what she thinks of crazy uncle Matt. Unsure at first, but then gives in to his antics.

Some of the wonderful family who amazes me every day!

Their youngest...he is going to be a heartbreaker!

See? We did finish the course!
And if I do say so myself, I think Ella was there with us all along...

Great pictures of such a sweet event! I love how Grace an Nomi were making the same "slightly sticking out tongue" look!
