Well...I took too long.
So now, I'm finishing laundry and dinner while Grace takes an (obviously) much needed nap.

I took too long...
Today, I put Grace in the Bumbo while I was sitting beside her folding the mountain of laundry I had washed that day. I was talking to her,telling her how proud I was of how strong she was and how good she was being while I finished my chores. She just smiled and babbled back at me until I got everything done. I left the room to put the next load in the wash, and to put the clothes in the closet, promising her that I'd take her out and we'd play when I got back.
Well...I took too long.

I don't know why they do that. Every time I've checked baby belly button smells funny.
there are lots of days when i take too long...later, they start to notice when you don't follow through (and you end up with a back log of promised time to catch up on!)
