Introducing little Benjamin Hinckley

This past weekend I was able to go see my new nephew for the first time. Let me tell ya....he is perfect! What a sweet face, and cuddly body....just wonderful! He's also a stud. Wait till you see the pictures, you'll understand. I'm just so grateful that we were able to go take some pictures of him while Stephen and I were there. Unfortunately, though, we didn't even get a picture WITH him! I guess I'll just have to convince him one day that I TOOK the pictures, even though I'm not IN them.

This first picture isn't of Benjamin, but of his older sister. About a year and a half ago, I took this of her sweet little foot....and I wanted to recreate it for little Ben. I hate that I didn't get to do Maddy's pictures (well, that was BS-wait, let me rephrase that-Before Stephen. Ha!)

I'm so glad we got to shoot outside, since he was born in the heat of the summer. It wasn't too fun for his mommy and me, but at least HE was happy and relaxed sunbathing in that heat!

These next two I love. I have this odd fetish of really old, kinda broken things. Well, this swing is old, some of the boards are falling out, yet, it was PERFECT, in my opinion! And, of course, those of you who know me also know that I love green, so that was an added bonus!

Seriously? What a stud!!

Obviously, he is VERY loved! He's the first boy in their family (2 older sisters, bless his heart! haha) and the first grandson on the Jennings side of the family.

Oh, those newborn grins...get me every time (even though we all know what causes them! haha)

And, of course, we couldn't resist taking some quick shots of the older sisters! It was the end of the day, the girls were worn out, but we managed to get a handful of cute ones in the 5 minutes they lasted before meltdowns.

Then, Snoop Sare-Bear StahNizzle (as her dad calls her) had her close up.

Although we really were there for about a day, we had such a great time. We were so glad to meet Ben and cuddling that cutie made me all the more ready for my little girl to be here!
