I just noticed that I don't have one picture of my dad from this entire day, when we really all got together to celebrate HIM! haha. oh, well...he knows we love him!(and probably appreciates the fact that I didn't stalk him with my camera) We had a great day with the family, although we were missing the Bergevin Family. Cara (being the one who's ALWAYS prepared) brought us this GREAT dinner of Steaks, Salad, Potatoes, etc...and we grilled out...HEAVEN! Also, I brought some of Dad's favorite dessert, Mississippi Mud (this amazing combination of fudgy brownie, with marshmallows melted on top and then smothered in chocolate-y fudge icing.) YUM. My stomach was definitely happy after all that. Well, on to the pictures (b/c i know you all just come to look at that!)
The bathing beauties! (Ironically enough, this is all they would do on the slip-n-slide. They refused to slide down it, and only played in the pool)

Stephen went down the slip-n-slide for the first (yes, FIRST) time EVER!He shortly, thereafter, became a pro, and would go over the end of the slip-n-slide, therefore sliding on the grass! (Good thing, my parents keep the yard to clean and free of sticks and such!)
Then, we started this fun game, to make things more interesting. Rachel wanted in on the action too...so we would have to hold her up so the people could go through HER legs too! She would just giggle and cackle, she thought it was so fun. And she was so proud of herself! haha
ok, so I think this is the funniest picture. As opposed to Stephen's 'action' shot...I just look like I died while I was sliding. I think I was just keeping my head down, because I was nervous that I was going to head butt someone, but I just look like i'm taking a nap or something! Just trust me, i really was sliding!
My favorite picture of the day! Rachel has really been warming up to Stephen. Its funny to think of how she used to be soo wary of EVERYONE and I even had to beg her to come sit on my lap (as opposed to the favored 'mommy') She has really come into a little personality, and she constantly cracks me up. Poor Stephen's arms were probably worn out from all the throwing. Rachel would walk up to him and look up with her big blue eyes and cute grin and say, "Stephen, THROW me!" And of course, who could resist that? Not my Stephen.
I was trying to sneak up on them, because they were all just playing in the hammock (while the rest of us were on the patio eating). Well, they caught me, and Stephen threw a stick at me! Domestic abuse! Ok, maybe not, but I still thought this picture was funny.
Luke and his good friend Stephen chillin' with the girls. I love how Rachel has her little arm on Stephen (I told you they became friends haha) She is probably telling Nora, "hey, you're squishin' my GUTS!!" I heard her say that to her SEVERAL times.
And I guess since Nora didn't listen to Rachel, Stephen pump-faked Nora into submission. HA!
