Ammon-Head Junior

So in my family, my BIL, Matt will make up some odd nicknames for the family members. My nephew Ammon has become 'Noah-Head-Junior' because of his similar traits to his father. Well, I deem my newest nephew, Eli to be "Ammon-Head-Junior". All I could think about when I looked at these pictures was....'WOW he looks sooo much like Ammon. I wish I had a better picture of Ammon so we could do a side by side, but I don't have one at the moment. But, goodness, I find myself catching myself calling him Ammon at least once when we're visiting.

Well, we were trying to get some pictures of little Ammon-Head-Junior before his little teeth came in. According to his mommy, his face will change once the teeth come in. Sooo...it was my aunt-ly duty to try to catch some gummy grins before he changes!
I didn't have much time, but I think we managed to capture a couple good ones.
Most, however, weren't really smiles, but just curiosity of that big black thing his aunt was holding. (and prob amusement of the crazy noises his aunt was making. haha)

I love his little hidden grin. woohoo, my silliness is working!!

oh...guess not. I spoke too soon. (this look looks similar to a look I get from Stephen sometimes.haha)

Seriously? I cannot be the only one who thinks he is a Ammon look a like.

I love how awkward he looks in the grass. I think this is when I first laid him down. You could tell he wasn't sure what to think about all that sticky stuff poking him! But I LOVE the green (well, it is my favorite color and all) and I love the leaves scattered in the frame.

I don't know how I missed uploading my favorite from the mini shoot, but i'll have to upload it later. Definately not a smiling picture, but it just makes me smile.

Don't mind him....he's just looking ridiculously good looking.

And I just DOUBLE DOG DARE you to not smile at this one!

Ok, seriously, you got the BESt photos of Elias. The one with the maniacal giggliness athte end is so awesome. And it was his first time visiting grass, so we've got to cut him some slack on the "what the heck is this stuff" department- I love the one with him holding the single grass blade and contemplating the universe. But my favorites are the ones with him looking semi serious. He's such an interesting baby.. he's so solemn, except when he watns our attention, then he grins massively when oyu catch his eye. So you captured his four-month-old-ness perfectly. Sometimes you get pics of babies about this age (I remember having to have Evva's six month shots done twice) and they look like very nice babies, but if the babe isn't comfortable with the photographer, they are pretty baby shots that don't look particularly like YOUR baby, just Some baby. (wish I had the first round of E pics that were bizarro when she was a baby. how do you take a pic of someone and it look so not like them?) These are Eli to a T, I guessbecause he adores and is so comfy with you, dear one.
