Princess picnic

Back In January, I offered to take my sister's little girl to my house for a sleepover. My new niece had just been born, and my sister was sleep deprived, and stressed (let's just say baby C had thrush and all sorts of allergies for the first couple months).
I invited Liv over with the promise to have a princess picnic.
So, on Saturday morning, we treked to one of our favorite parks.

Of course, Princess dresses were a necessity.

And of course, swinging and playing on the playground was a must.

What's a princess without her own carriage? (and footman? haha)

The princesses had to have a Prince Charming, so we asked Bennett (aka Benny-boo) to come too.
Grace kept giving him 'royal' kisses.

Prince Charming was not amused.

Then, we had our picnic, complete with our friend Belle, princess punch (sprite and cranberry juice), star sandwichs, delicious chips, and 'sparkly' rice crispy treats. (the girls wanted to put 'sparkly' sprinkles on them)

What a good sharer!
Sometimes princesses need to relax while drinking princess punch....no big deal.

Oh, these princesses...I adore them.
And they adore each other.

And we all adore this little guy!
But he doesn't adore princesses much right now. Give him time...

Then we ended our Princess picnic with a picture together in their carriage...but this was the best I got!

We went home and hung out on the porch for a while.

Our new solar powered, dancing flower was brought out too...through the insisting of little princesses.

What are the looking at, you ask?

Just doing what princess do...watching other people work.

But then made those girls hang their tiaras up and get to work!

At the end of the day, Livvy didn't want to leave. In fact, she walked up to me and sweetly asked, "Can we have another princess picnic tomorrow?"

For you, princesses?

ANYTHING.
