Time-out

For Christmas, Grace got a lot of Polly Pocket dolls. She has been obsessed with them since.

If you are not familiar with the newer Polly Pockets, their heads are interchangeable as well as their clothes.

Yesterday, Grace comes running into the bedroom and loudly proclaims, "Mama! Polly Pocket in Time OUT!"

I responded, "Really? Why is she in time-out?"

She said, "She hit her mama...she's in time-out"

"Ooohh...As she should be!"

Then, she proceeds to take my hand and lead me to the time-out spot where she shows me a disembodied doll head on the floor in the corner.

Grace's punishments are no joke.

This morning, as I tried to get some toys together for Grace's church bag, I pulled out her little sack of polly pockets. I noticed that there were only a few accessories and a head.  I asked Grace where all the other dolls where, and she runs to her room and points at the closet.  I open the door to find a STACK of random Polly pocket heads and naked doll bodies.

I guess Grace literally has some 'skeletons' in her closet.
