Don't we all have these days?

I was going through my picture folder, and I found this beauty. It took me by surprise and several thoughts ran through my head:

1. A picture of ME. That rarely happens b/c Stephen doesn't take that many pictures.

2. Ugh, I look soo tired as a crying Grace hugs my neck.

3. Why do I still have that huge headband on my head, when I'm dressed in PJs?

4.WHY did Stephen take a picture of me...especially at this moment.

 As horrible as I look in this picture, I kind of love it. I'm a mom. I do hard things. I often have a crying baby crawling all over me. I often look rough. I often am tired. I often sacrifice.

But, most importantly, I am ALWAYS loved.

 Now, when I have another one of THOSE days, I'm going to look back at this picture and think, "well, I got past that day...and I can overcome this trial too".

I'm thankful for all the moms out there. My mom, who I'm sure had MANY of THOSE days with four girls in her house... My wonderful sisters, who are such amazing moms and have given me such great examples of motherhood...And all of my friends who are moms, and for those who are going to be moms someday!
Motherhood is a tough job, but the rewards that are reaped last for eternities.
