Before Vs. After

Then:
I could wake up and get ready, and get half way through the day skipping breakfast.

Now:
I am ravenous when I get up, and am lucky if I can get out the door without having to eat something. (oh, and not to mention, I already have a little one kicking me, reminding me to eat...)

Then:
I could stand on my feet for hours with no problem. (I'm a photographer...its what i do.)

Now:
I can stand up on any hard surface for more than 20 minutes...and suffer the consequences of swollen feet, and aching back.

Then:
I could work all day at one job, get home, work some more for the side business, and then still have some energy to get house work done at night.

Now:
I resort to taking naps on my lunch breaks (true story) and I tend to crash after I have my belly full of dinner.

Then:
I could see my legs and feet.

Now:
um...not so much.

Then:
Speaking of feet...I used to LOVE painting my toenails.

Now:
I cannot possibly think of painting my toenails...I can't even reach them, for goodness sake. I want (and need) a pedicure sooo bad!

Then:
I could go a whole night without having to get out of bed to go to the bathroom.

Now:
Well, on a good night, I might just go 3 times...but usually more.

Then:
I could roll over and change positions at night with no problem.

Now:
If I need to roll over at night, I should schedule about 5 minutes for it. It's kind of an ordeal.

Then:
The only movement in my stomach was some rumbling when I was hungry.
Now:
I have the sweetest...most ACTIVE...baby moving around all the time, reminding me that i'm going to be a mother soon.

and I wouldn't change it for the world.

ahhh it brings back so many memories! Wait until you get closer to your due date. I remember literally hoisting myself to roll over. I even made that heavy lifting noise "Hu-uh!"

At least you're the cutest pregnant lady!

I am smiling. I also think maybe your friends "considering" pregnancy might not want to read it!!
Love you. Thank you for all that you sacrifice to bring this little spirit into the world.
